To give you some context, the "large" donner kebab was packaged in the same size container as the small chicken kebab, which contained just a tiny pita and, if you were lucky, about five pieces of chicken. This certainly didn’t justify the price of the kebabs in my opinion. We like to vary our takeaway choices based on past experiences, but it’s clear that the ownership has changed since our last order, and the quality has declined along with the staff’s response to any criticism. I genuinely wish them luck in staying afloat as a business, but I cannot recommend them due to their lack of quality food and poor customer service skills.
The large pizzas and fish and chips are fantastic. When ordering directly from the shop or for pickup, customers used to receive a free bottle of fizzy juice, but that offer has now ended. Additionally, those who order online for pickup or delivery can enjoy a 10% discount. The only thing preventing me from giving this place a full five stars is the delivery fee of £2.50, which seems a bit high since I'm not far away. However, the most important aspect is that the food is consistently excellent and generously portioned. Overall, I would rate it 4.5 stars.
I used to frequent Vittorios, but after my last visit, I was let down. I thought I’d give it another chance, but unfortunately, it didn’t improve. Even though it was 6 PM on a Saturday night, the chips were limp, greasy, and cold. The fish was dried out, bland, and seemed like it had been sitting around for a while. I’m not sure if there’s new management or if they’ve switched to lower-quality ingredients, but I definitely won't be returning. It felt like a waste of money, as we ended up throwing away 70% of the meals.
