Had a reasonably quick lunch at the RSL’s newish restaurant, ’Ish Wine and Dine. I think it was previously called the Clearweater Cafe.Just went for something fairly inexpensive, the BBQ Pulled Pork Open Grill. Sort of like an open sandwich. Tasty, nice pork, came with apple slaw, fennel and aioli plus chips. $16 non members. Not a big serving but ok for me for a fairly quick lunch.Other items I noticed were things like rump, crispy skinned pork belly, barramundi, baked chicken breast, seared salmon, beef burger, lamb cutlets plus a few more. Priced $20 non members through to $41 non members. Not many bargains there for lunch but perhaps those dishes are aimed mainly at evening diners. I noti...

This was our choice for dining before heading off to a show. When we entered it wasn't too busy, which was a good thing as there were very few waiters available in the restaurant, to take orders. The open space, although screened from the main walkway through the RSL club, meant it had very noisy. The menu selection offered both small and bigger meals. The mushroom filled crepes were light and moist, the calamari was very soft and the crumb crust was crunchy, although the temperature of this dish left a lot to be desired. At best I would describe it as lukewarm! The spring rolls and dipping sauce were great, but the side of wedges was far too big, even for sharing. We're were able to order o...
Getting there is pretty easy and there are lots of car parks. We entered via the rear car park and took the elevator to reception. Greeted at reception you walk through keno and racing bar to eateries then the main stage, poker machines and bar, cafe and another/more eateries. The specials or bain maree dining is before the main stage and the restaurant or bistro through the entire building. Food cooked to order such as lamb shanks, beef fillets and pizza from one of the restaurants arrived in good service times and was hot. Bain maree specials looked good but was cold. All serves appeared to be very large. The main stage entertainment does not affect the other areas very much and the atmosp...
Yet again just another average meal and service provided by the Caloundra RSL. Overpriced and lacks any real value for money. This venue is steadily going downhill and it clearly shows by the lack of patrons eating here. The meet and greet at the entrance of the venue is excellent, pity about the quality and prices of the meals. Book a table now
The restaurant even though not busy, still had us waiting a while for service and fish that was ordered had a strange taste, so no charge was made for this. The other meal was fine though and was completely happy with it..
We ate there most nights there are 3 restaurants to choose from and a desert place as well, the entertainment at night is open to all and most nights was a live bands and tributes to other bands and musicians
Partner and I visited this very large RSL club one evening. Meals are $12 each or 3 for $30. We shared 3 meals for $30 which were very tasty. Service was quick, although the area had few diners.
Located at the Caloundra RSL, this restaurant was fantastic! Despite it being a busy Friday night and us not having a reservation, we were still able to secure a table. Book a table now
The food was just okay. I ordered a 350g steak, which was decent but nothing to write home about. However, the creamy garlic sauce option was fantastic.
Decided on this restaurant and would recommend it .Food was fresh fresh fresh. Service was a bit slow but staff run off their feet.
