My second experience with this restaurant, my first was some years ago. I don’t like giving negative reviews. First I would like to say that the waitress was extremely friendly and accommodating. Out of my two friends, I was the only one who ordered entrée dinner: fillet mignon with a port reduction sauce and green beans with slivered almonds. One of my favorites! I asked for the steak medium well. Unfortunately I got something that resembled beef jerky instead. Each restaurant has their own variation of medium well, some are slightly pink and others are not. I would not have sent it back if it wasn’t for the fact that my green beans resembled a limp noodle instead of a sautéed green beans....
I have made reservations for 5 with opentable. When I arrived, the waitress informed me that viva madrid did not accept any reservations from opentable. I showed the waitress my reservation on opentable. she said that viva madrid has had this problem for some time that it has caused much frustration with her customers and employees, and that is not solved.
My third and final visit. When our fourth course arrived, I finally realized the problem: every dish tasted like leftovers. Some of them not even fully heated. No flavor, no savor, no seasoning to be found anywhere. A big nothingburger—or rather, nothingtapas.
great customer service . the host was amazing, its customer service was excellent. he ensured that everyone was accommodated and cared for. I forgot the name of the man, but he was brilliant. our server was also super and recommended dishes and drinks!

Sangria was delicious only complaint was the cold bread other then that food was delicious . Service was good asked for an extra plate never got it but that’s ok :
They have built a patio outside so it is really nice! The food is always amazing so reasonable! I highly recommend Viva Madrid!
Overall my experience here is always very good, although it would be amazing if they had more vegan/vegetarian options.
Our favorite date spot. Red wine sangria is always amazing. Not one bad thing on the menu.
