After driving past this place for years and thinking I should give it a try, I finally stopped in today. Currently, in Illinois, there are no interior seating options, only takeout. They were doing a brisk business, and I quickly understood why. I ordered a steak burrito with all the toppings and took a seat at an outdoor table. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the hot sauce was quite spicy, so be careful with that if you’re not used to it. I love hot sauce and the spicier, the better, but that might be too much for most people. Even though I just ordered a burrito, I’m definitely keen to come back and try more items from the menu. The prices are reasonable, so it won’t break the bank....
I haven't verified it myself, but I have to give credit where it's due: their food is fantastic, which is why I haven't felt the need to check on anything else. I'm really impressed with their COVID safety measures. Everything is contactless, there's an automatic hand sanitizer station at the entrance, and they even removed the second interior door to make sure you're not stuck in a tight space between them.
My first time ordering was fast and easy. Food was made quickly, with no errors and tasted great. I have ordered from here several times for my lunch during work and dinner with my family, every time has come out perfectly and everybody loved the food and portions! I highly recommend this place for quick bites and authentic Mexican dining.
This restaurant is somewhat tucked away behind McDonald's, but it's fantastic. I often come for lunch to enjoy the tacos and tamales, both of which are always excellent. The staff is also incredibly friendly.
