My family and I have just returned from a 7 night stay in Santa Ponsa where we visited numerous local restaurants and we have to say Vivo was so good we ate here two nights in a row. The dishes we tried over the two evenings included baked Camembert, breads with aoili olives, goats cheese with pear honey walnuts, Thai curry, braised beef with chorizo mash, 1/2 duck with dumplings, beef tagliatelle, apple tarte, mango sorbet, chocolate soufflé and kaiserswarm. So having tried so many dishes we feel absolutely assured in our recommending of this place the food is wonderful! Everything was made to perfection and was deliciously well presented. We will absolutely visit the next time we are in Sa...

It's been our third visit to Santa Ponsa and we have always avoided this place thinking German food would be too heavy for our stomachs. How wrong we were. The place is in pristine condition, and you are spoilt for choice, but we went for Wiener Schnitzel which was just great, with fried potatoes (with bacon and green onion, mind you) AND! pickled cucumbers. Top quality food, seriously, and service provided by Melanie just added to the whole experience. Thanks a lot, we'll be back.

The veal schnitzel was full of greasy fat accompanied by tasteless chopped cucumber while the fried potatoes were equally greasy and over-salted. Nothing like a classic schnitzel dish that you would find in Germany or Austria. Would not visit this restaurant again.

We went for lunch but it would be a better spot for dinner given the prices and portions. Prawn linguine was delicious and sea bream was fresh and tasty. Very nice Verdejo. All worth the money!
