This place serves up some absolutely delicious and authentic Vietnamese food. Personally, I can't go past the Bun Cha, and I'm not usually a fan of noodle soups, but this is filled with so much flavour from the super fresh ingredients and is super filling too. All their servings are very generous and the price very reasonable. Word seems to be spreading about this place and they are generally quite busy these days and it looks as if they might be about to outgrow their small premises. We now opt to get take away and eat it somewhere less crowded- but it's still well worth eating their food!
Very disappointing experience as the food was very bad. Ordered roast duck, and prawn rice paper rolls. They were tasteless! The duck rolls had dried skin and hardly any meat on them. The prawn rolls had a couple of tiny prawns, and stuffed with vermicelli noodle and iceberg lettuce.
Also ordered lemon grass pork and rice bento box. The pork was just fat and hairy skin bits.
They served food and drinks in disposal plastic cups, and plates. It's really wasteful and very bad for the environment.
They have a very small place, but their food is surprisingly good. I love Vermicelli rolls and their one are fine, maybe the outer layer can be a bit thinner. You do not serve fish sauce like other restaurants, but I like the sauce you serve. The beef with the Vermicelli noodle is a bit dry, but a good aroma. I am looking forward to returning and try more dishes from them !!!
Had the grilled lemongrass pork and pork patties with vermicelli. Pretty good food - helped by a very happy kitchen. It was a kind of open kitchen concept.. The guys cooking and helping in the kitchen were singing along some disco remixed of Vietnamese folk songs - good for a laugh.

Best Bun Cha in Marrickville up to a long way. Grilled meat was great, but the sauce was a bit too sweet. Other things on the menu are average, but decent. The service is not great here (sometimes rude), but the quality of rolls cha distorts this.
By far the best bun cha this side of Hanoi. Marrickville is the littleVietnam of Sydneys inner west and vn is doing something right. It has a line up every night and for good reason. It's small and local and super yum oh and al for $11
Your $ 12 millbox (like a Vietnamese bento box) is a great cheap food. Choose your soup, egg whites, side, rice, salad and it's a fast, funny dinner option. Tasty rice paper also rolls on the menu.
This restaurant makes me miss Vietnam so much! Although grilled fish was a little dry for me (I prefer it hotter with more sauce). Anyway, I will definitely come back to try more ????????

We went there for lunch at this small restaurant because saw it was full house, and we try their pho(northern style) and pork rice vermicelli, it was very delicious and cheap, well done!
I come from Vietnam and I strongly recommend everything when you go there if you want to try Vietnamese food. It's original taste, good price! Love it ????
