While we visited Mexico City, we made Yuban one of our beautiful dining room evenings and fine food is exactly how I would describe it. Understand that, while it has happened all Mexican cuisine and representatives of culinary infusion in the Roma district, it is very upscale, so be ready for the instead of traditional street food you can also search during your trip. There is a dedicated cook and accompanying menu and you 'll have classic small portions with incredible coating. And of course, everything is incredibly delicious. We went to this restaurant because it’s listed in La Liste and other “Best Restaurants” lists but it is way overrated. Cocktails were delicious and received promptly but food, on the other hand, took more than half of an hour to arrive. We have visited many fine restaurants around the world and this wait was ridiculous. Specially when food portions were ridiculously small. As I said, I understand this concept but when in a tasting menu, not for what it should be a complete meal. Taste was indeed delicious and presentation impeccable. The food and service were excellent as is the laid back mood and beautiful rustic modern design. Care was really taken wish each dish in both it's presentation and its flavors. There is a chef there that cares and runs a tight ship with a service that delivers upon how the food served needs to be presented and enjoyed.
Had a very nice experience. The reviews hadn’t been all that great, so I was concerned having picked this place for friends as well. The preparation of all dishes were excellent. So glad we went
