The sushi rolls I ordered tasted stale and overly fishy. At $12 to $17 per roll, they were quite small and contained very little fish. The salmon roll had salmon slices that were as thin as a quarter. While the staff was nice and friendly, the owner (who certainly seemed to be the owner, given his loud behavior) was rude to his employees and seemed to take his frustrations out on the customers.
Enthusiastic service and lively atmosphere, however service got my order wrong. Ordered the Wabi Sabi special (Dinner item) which is a $50~ menu item and instead received the Wabi special ,sushi platter dish,but similarly named dish at $25~. Was charged appropriately but a wrong order is a mistake I can't overlook. On the bright side the sushi dishes are fresh and tasty.
I am very disappointed with the food I received; I ordered a fire roll it was the worst sushi I have ever had in my life. It looked like raw ground beef, it had a very fishy taste the texture was awful. My order of Edamame was not seasoned the edamame was under cooked. I will never go back there. I will not recommend this place to anyone!
I have been here since 2007 and would like to say that this is my #1 Go To for Japanese food. Great service, great food and a clean beautiful environment for immersion. I always get the steak, shrimp, salad and chicken-fried rice with a raspberry tea..simply the best! Book a table now
We always have Teppen for our special Valentine's days. So of course we went and had dinner it was ok. The chef didn't seem to be that into the cooking stuff. The food was ok. I spent over $230 hopefully next time it be like before.
Ate here tonight with my wife and kids. Cozy little place. They had great food and great customer service as well. Very relaxed vibe all the staff were cheerful.
Great sushi, great service. Food was delivered quickly and the waiters and chefs were very friendly. Will be back.
