for a local who calls itself waffelhaus, at least in this area I would have expected something particularly good. Unfortunately disappointed! the Rhabarber variant, which has already been praised outside, proved to be a wad (freshly baked, but without good taste) with a much too sweet rhubarb sauce, which does not deserve the name and probably the cheapest ice cream.Positive: friendly service and small portions in the flame cakes. these were unfortunately served on non-confidential looking wooden boards. doubtful how to clean.The coffee tasted very thin and the smell when entering into the local does not seem inviting.In the case of nice weather you can sit on the terrace very nicely.
we wanted to have a drink after the Christmas market. the clean, but sweetly decorated, light brown tables do not want to fit the pseudo-work ambience of the dining room. So yum. Got the pizza waffle to share with the table and then a cherry and whip cream for myself. So good. I don't eat waffles back home..they are usually too sweet for my liking, but I'd eat these waffles all day errrr day. This place gets busy, so be prepared to wait or make a reservation.
at a trip to the castle burg here waffeln and cappuccino fetched. the order was quickly received, the waffeln came before the drinks. These were forgotten to finish.Everything was good at taste, but the taste at waffeln is very diverse.
I always like to go to the waffel house, even once on my own. I always order the dinkelwaffel with mirabellen or rhabarbercomott. when my man comes with he orders the salty pizzawaffel, also highly recommended!
