So I decided to go by Wagamama today with my partner to grab some lunch . I ordered the katsu chicken hot ; tea ; crispy squid The katsu chicken was indeed tasty and worth the money . The crispy squid was very oily and a chewy and I barely ate it as it taste outright nasty My partner ordered another chicken dish (forgot the name but picture bellow . His dish came 2 minutes after order which in itself was a red flag . As soon as he took a bite he spat it out cause the whole plate was cold , the chicken tasted old and the food seemed to have been laying for a while and was just given to us anyways . This restaurant is the worst place to eat, and I am being completely honest in my review. Our Valentine's dinner with family was a disaster for several reasons: 1. Our drinks took 25 minutes to arrive after ordering. 2. The kids' noodles were cold. 3. Despite six requests from different waiters and waitresses, the teriyaki sauce for the kids arrived very late. 4. The vegetables in our meals were overcooked. 5. No one answered the phone when we tried calling. 6. The manager repeatedly asked us for excellent reviews when we complained. 7. Our complaints seemed to fall on deaf ears. My family love Wagamama. We are usual Wagamama customers (Westfield Stratford, Liverpool Street) Just tried GREAT MARLBOROUGH STREET and we are really disappointed. Poor service, portions are really small compared to other Wagamama restaurants. Looks like they opened just for new customers, random tourists charge them, give them poor service and never see them again. If you want to eat in Wagamama just avoid this one. Try another one.
Go elsewhere, even if you usually like Wagamamas. If you’ve left your coat in the car while shopping in Westfield you’ll need it back to eat at this Wagamama. It’s really cold, and so is the food. Also use the toilets in the shopping centre before you go, because they’re cleaner than the restaurants which also had no toilet paper. Service is grumpy too, maybe because they have to deal with so many complaints. Worst Wagamama for ages. Book a table now
The food was only lukewarm and the disabled toilet was out of order, with the only available toilet located upstairs. Unfortunately, I was unable to access the upstairs toilet. The staff resorted to trying to open the door with a knife as they couldn't locate the key. The manager's customer service was terrible. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant for disabled individuals, which is unacceptable in this day and age (2024).
Great food in the centre of London; the portions are very big in size and the taste of the food was amazing, even though everything was a bit too spicy for my liking, but that part is subjective. : I loved the freshly squeezed juices with unique names. The staff was super nice and even though we were a larger group, they managed our order well and with a smile on their faces. Recommend!
Not so good today. Serving staff seemed to be disengaged and lacking in energy. Not given menus. Had to desperately try to get someone’s attention. Drinks arrived 5 mins after food . Food was tasty but only a few tiny pieces of chicken in the dish. Not the usual standard. I’m hoping that this is just due to tired staff in a busy period ??
We ordered our food which arrived below room temperature. The noodles were awful and cold and the veggie Katsu curry was totally tasteless and cold. The waitress Aisha I think was her name was absolutely lovely and tried her best of not charging us for the noodles. Book a table now
I had an excellent time at Wagamama in Shepherd's Bush. The waiter Giuseppe was fantastic and I would definitely recommend this location to friends and family. The chicken katsu curry was amazing, as always!
