Lovely Pub Lunch with my wife today and we were very impressed with the meals we had. No skimping with the portions and the quality was excellent,I had sausage and mash and this came with Broccoli Carrots Peas four Sausages in onion gravy. My wife had gammon and this came with two eggs garden peas tomatoes and lovely chips. The service was excellent and very friendly. If you are passing this way I highly recommend the Waggon and Horses.
A few of us stopped at this restaurant on our way back from a mountain-bike tour. There is plenty of outdoor space to park our bikes, protected from the wind but still able to enjoy the evening sun. The bar staff were very friendly and the prices were reasonable. Although we didn't have a meal here, we heard that the food is fantastic - we'll have to try it on our next visit. Excellent experience overall!
Fabulous pub. Beer was fine, reasonable prices, food was incredible, huge portions all home cooked and amazing value for money. Best pub meal we have had in a long while and not expensive, just real quality. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely be back
Today, I visited this restaurant and the food was absolutely perfect. The owner made us feel so welcomed. We will definitely be returning, even though we are from Leigh in God's country. Keep up the good work!
