I came in recently for food with my children we all had carverys, a tall ginger lad was serving us I think his name was matt, he was so lovely and very patient with my children who were indecisive about witch meet they wanted but he helped them make there decisions, then another lad called Josh came to top out the vegetables who was as equally lovely. Both gentlemen made me and my children feel very welcome we will definitely be coming again soon the service was amazing the day I came in.
Had a meal with family had to wait for Carvery to open, once open limited options available, food looked nice but once we sat down to wat food was very undercooked mediocre and bland, the meat was cooked to a low level standard all other option like veg potatoes undercooked, for a Carvery I would of expected to have garden peas, stuffing the normal stuff but nothing just basic food
The place is very tired and needs a good bit of tlc inside and out. The food was ok, although took a while to arrive. Service was ok no real complaints. It has a decent outdoor climbing frame for children to play on. It did the job for what we needed this visit but would t be rushing back. Could be a great pub, but needs some serious attention to it to bring it back to life

A family party of us met for lunch. 3 of us had all day breakfast, the worst breakfast ever. Staff couldn't care less about anything. One of us had to help an elderly couple while waitress stood and watched. We will not be visiting this pub ever again
Carvery was dry and looked as if it had been there for hours. Opted for food off menu chicken mix. Disappointed meat and meal warm. Had dessert sticky toffee pudding and custard was lovely and made up for a disappointing meal.
Brilliant pub staff are always so friendly and happy and the food is amazing for the cost...... I recommend the loaded chicken... AMAZING!! Also loads of great deals on drinks
My son and nephew has a fab time playing at the wacky warehouse, and Kelly was great with the kids and very friendly. Would definitely recommend to tire the kids out. Book a table now
Served by a lovely happy chap (Carter) who was so chatty and passionate. Service was exceptional and I’ll be back because of Carter. Credit to the team.
