Wagner's Ribs - Table reservation

I have been coming to Wagner‘s for nearly 40 years. Their ribs are still my favorite. Upon my arrival, I waited to be told what seating was available, chose a section and sat down. It took over five minutes for a server to even acknowledge me and bring menus. I waited another five minutes for someone to take the beverage order. Having been a long-standing customer, I already knew what I was going to order. When our food was brought out, both slabs of ribs were not just charred, they were burned. Ribs used to be 5 star but now are a 4. I'm not sure why they aren't as good as they used to be. I like that one option isn't smoked so if you don't like smoky ribs you can order the original style. And, of course, the waffle fries are legendary. Very casual restaurant the ambience isn't special. Great filet mignon but it's priced as high as at other restaurants that have upscale ambiences. Kid friendliness: Must be over 21 to enter, even though Indiana changed its law. The law leaves it up to the restaurant whether to allow kids. So this is a great place to go if you don't want to be around screaming kids.

Discrimination against families no under 21 in the whole restaurant. Take the asterix off your webpage please so people know the restaurant will not serve food to anyone under 21. What a shame.

Parking: Wish they pave the parking lot Kid-friendliness: Can't take kids there ugh wish they can Wheelchair accessibility: Not handicap acceptable!??
