Do not rely on this business' employees to know what they have in their stores. They gave me incorrect information over the phone and I wasted my time and money ubering there for nothing. I wasted $70 and 1.5 hours of my life ubering to this place after they confirmed over the phone that they had haggis (the Scottish food) in stock, only to have the staff act like they didn't know what I was talking about when I arrived. I specifically asked about this product, I specifically confirmed the location to make sure I went to the right store, and I had them repeat it to make absolutely sure they had it, and they were totally clueless. Absolutely unprofessional. I have no idea what I could have do...

I wish I'd come here first to read the recent reviews. This is not the deli I used to stop in for sandwiches as a local undergrad. To be fair, it was more than 20 years ago but that does not negate how awful it was today. My Ruben was lackluster at best. For $17 I expected the meat portion to reflect that price point. It did not. Then to top it off, the corned beef itself was just ok and there was waaaay too much sauerkraut for the amount of meat on the bread, throwing the sandwich proportions all Off. Just a really overall underwhelming sandwich. Very disappointing as I was looking forward to stopping in while I was in the area.

Found this place on Thrillist magazine 's top sandwich places in DC...and it is National Sandwich Day! The employees were super friendly and accommodating as I bounced throughout the store. When I order a complicated sandwich, the young lady simply said... 'no problem Sir. ' The bologna sandwich was awesome! There are daily specials, and today 's was chilli...top notch! I am not sure where others are experiencing poor service...the folks I came in contact with were true professionals. I cannot wait to visit again.

3.5 stars Stopped in to grab a few things and some sandwiches. They stock some nice prepackaged items, nothing seemed to have a price tag which is annoying, but prices overall were ok for dry goods. Got a couple things from their deli and sandwiches, which overall feel overpriced. Italian sandwich was ok, but small for $16 and the bread needs to soak up a ton of the dressing. The reuben was decent and the better of the two. Also ordered empanadas which were pretty good, but $6 each is crazy. Book a table now

Best deli/restaurant in DC!! The food is out of this world. I had my birthday brunch here with a group of 16 friends and the service/food couldn't be better. The back room was set up perfectly and our drinks were always full. The Manager, Joseph and Server, Sophie were amazing to work with and so helpful. If you are ever thinking about hosting a group brunch definitely check this place out! You won't be disappointed.

Yo Real Talk this place is legit! I’ve been coming here on and off for the past 4 or 5 years and this guys are always on point. Today in particular I ordered a Ruben Pizza and a gyro sandwich, there both amazing but the pizza is spectacular, the only change I did on the pizza is instead of sauerkraut I had it replaced with coleslaw and it was Amazing!

In addiion to a really second rate cornbeef special I tried the Cubano sandwich. Well it's really not a Cuban or was prepared wrong. No pork, just more pastrami and kruat. Not bad- better than the corn beef special.I realize training new sandwich makers is hard.I want to love these sandwiches again but pleeeze get you act together.

This restaurant is very expensive. I used to buy D'Artagnan Tasso ham from Wegmans, but it has been discontinued for at least 18 months. I called D'Artagnan and they told me the closest place to purchase it was in DC. I went and bought the Tasso ham, but it was almost double the price compared to what I used to pay at Wegmans. They sell very delicious sandwiches here : I tried their pulled pork sandwich (with pickles instead of coleslaw . The pork itself was a bit rough and chewy, but the tasty BBQ sauce made up for it. My mom is obsessed with this place which is why I offered to try the food from here, and honestly I’ll come back again! :D
