Yummy! Shared a breakfast sandwich and a sweet waffle! The sandwich had a hint of rosemary, not overpowering; sweet waffle was good. The waffles could be a bit lighter, not so dense, but had a good crisp bite. Regular cup of coffee was just ok. Forgot to take pictures. Service was excellent! Overall, I would go back!
I love the waffles at this restaurant, especially the crème brûlée. There are plenty of tables available, but it's a laptop-free zone, so don't plan on staying for hours to do work. It's more of a quick eat and drink spot. The space is cozy and not very big, which makes sense for the type of establishment.
The food at La Verne is incredibly delicious. The owner is very friendly and personally checks in with each table to ensure that everyone enjoyed their meal. It's a wonderful place to dine with family and friends. The Crème Brûlée was the best!

Wonderful little spot. I enjoyed every little bite from the Maple bacon waffle. I recommend if you are in the area. I also enjoyed a iced chai tea latte. Service was timely and friendly.
I went in today and got the Scarlett Johansen and the chicken was absolutely raw. I could not stop throwing up afterwards and completely disappointed with this experience.
