Thought I already reviewed this.. hmm. In previous years before games this place was always packed. Every time I go there this season (about half dozen).. it's empty. Ok let's see do u go here and get a burger served in a paper bag a la carte for like $12. Then fries are extra. Or go sit down and get.it o. A plate a few doors down at the Yard House for $15? I think that's where all there people have gone. Yard.house is also a better burger but maybe that's why they have a line. Only reason to go here is u don't have time for a place like the Yard House... more expensive from a paper bag. They were extremely busy when we went here. We ordered 2 burgers for takeout and it took a good half hour. But they had like 8 people working in the grill area and several servers who were all polite. They were just very busy serving the probably 8 people ahead of us as well as the dining room. But the burgers were just meh. They are not flavorful, the meat does not seem seasoned, and did not even have lettuce and tomato on them. We get the bbq burger. Just mashed avocado and bbq sauce. We thought there would be lettuce and tomato. I also have very limited choice of burger bc most of them came with government cheese which I am guessing is American cheese. Which I did not want. Went for some food before a red Sox/yankees game and were a bit disappointed. Bar tender took our food order, didn’t write it down, ordered 4 hamburgers for 4 people. Took 45-50 mins to get, when we got it it was raw. No quality check by waiter. Had to wait until we were leaving to tell waiter it , was removed from bill but were disappointed. First visit for us, will not be in a rush to return.
We visited this restaurant for lunch, and the onion rings were enjoyable at first, but after a couple of minutes, there was an unusual aftertaste that I can't quite explain. It felt like I was just tasting grease. The burgers were decent if you prefer the thin patty style, but that's not really my preference. As for the milkshake, it was just average.

I wasn't particularly impressed with the restaurant. If you're offering onion rings, they should be made properly—perhaps with a beer batter or something similar. Those shoestring onions were a poor substitution. The burgers were also overcooked.
Right next to Fenway, we adore the atmosphere, service, and food at Wahlburgers. The prices are reasonable for the area, and there's a great drink selection. I highly recommend trying the onion rings from their menu.
I'm excited to visit Wahlburgers this Friday! I've been told I resemble Donnie and Mark, so I can't wait to experience the restaurant. I'm sure I'm going to love it, and I hope to meet both Donnie and Mark!

Ordered salad with chicken. Got dry chicken on a roll. My husband enjoyed his burger though.
It's a must-visit. An incredible experience with delicious food!
