The chicken was tasteless, unmarinated chicken breast cut up into cubes. The pork was slightly undercooked which can be dangerous. It came with a teriyaki salad which was not fresh. The veggies were on the verge of nearing expiration or were frozen veggies. My best friend, a goddess, and I decided to have dinner at this restaurant. When we arrived, I parked in the plaza. We walked inside and noticed there were seats both indoors and outdoors; we opted for indoors. The restaurant has a setup where you order your food at the counter, pay, and they bring it to your table. I chose the Alaskan flounder burrito with teriyaki sauce, while my friend ordered the steak quesadilla. While we waited for our food, I went to the bar and ordered an espresso martini. I really tried to like this place, but 1. The protein bowl was BLAND as can be 2. The tofu option was served with minimal tofu as if tofu was gold 3. The price was missing/erased from the wall menu 4. The veggies were not fresh. They were soggy. 5. They didn't have brown rice for my burrito. They gave me white rice instead. There is a huge difference between brown and white, and to be called a burrito restaurant but not carry enough brown rice is not sound business practice (it's like having a car oil change business but telling your customer you ran out of synthetic oil, just the regular oi). 6. I visited this little fish taco place while in the area and was definitely not disappointed. Although it's a chain, it's one of the few in New Jersey, so it feels special to me. I really appreciate that they have an outdoor seating area that's dog-friendly, which is fantastic during the summer when you’re out and about. The best part? The food is amazing! Even as a chain, the ingredients are really fresh. I love that the fish tacos come with slaw instead of just plain cabbage. Plus, the rice and beans on the side are absolutely delicious. Overall, it’s a great spot for a quick meal. The prices are very reasonable too, especially considering the quality of the food!

I am not a taco/ Mexican food fan at all but this place has me thinking differently. It is a nice fusion of ethnic food mixed together to create dynamite dishes. The food is extremely fresh and made to order. A completely healthy alternative from many restaurants around. The bar is a nice accent and the restaurant atmosphere is like being on the west coast. Service is extremely quick. I really like how the kitchen is open with full view inside. Keep up the great work. Will definitely be back.
Shameful illegal for the owner to use the tips out of of his guests pockets, mine yours, to be used for compensation of his staff. When we tip, it is for the employees to take home at the end of their shift, that VERY SAME DAY. This is the law. Great food, but not sure if I will boycott or just not tip..... Don't worry about being here after 19. they turn off everything and let them feel how they interfere when they come in. I work at a few nights until 6-7. it's a shame because you eat well. I wish they were open later or not that they feel unwilling when they come closer to closing.
I had an excellent experience at the restaurant. I tried the spicy burrito smothered in green enchilada sauce and cheese, and it was absolutely delicious. I also enjoyed a wahoo taco, which was really good as well. The bartender, Christina, was fantastic. I will definitely return!
