We enjoyed a fantastic lunch! A rather upscale casual lunch, perhaps more formal at dinner time. Our server was Cuco, and he was a very nice man who gave us great recommendations. As english speaking people, he was a great interpreter for us. You can tell it's the kind of place the locals all go to. Highly recommend the pork sandwich-cuban style. Once again love CucoVegetarian options: They had fish and salads, as well as good al la carte if those don’t strike your fancy.
The place seems nice, nice people. We ordered a fried fish and didn’t asked the price but didn’t think it would be sooo expensive, $120 to be exact. although it tasted fresh, you could taste the old oil which gave me and my husband a really bad indigestion. The minute left the restaurant we had to run for the bathroom?. The sides were small and honestly the price for this dish was NOT worth it! If you go try something else other than the fried and super expensive fish!
There is no place in Miami that cooks authentic Cuban food and it’s consistent in everything like Wajiro’s is. I have been coming here since they opened many years ago and they keep up with updating the place and the menu gets better! Hey have live entertainment Fridays and Saturday’s. And nobody in Miami makes better beans than them!!! This is my favorite Cuban spot in the world!
Place empty however the service was super slow… took them almost an hour to serve the food. First it took them forever just to ask for the drink then the appetizers also took long. The prices are super high. Also included a service charge that goes 100% to the waiter and plus they expect people to give them tip… what a ripoff. We will never come back to this place ever again Book a table now
Keeping memories of a Miami fine, accesible Cuban eatery, is not a good thing nowadays. Facing the reality of an empty place on a weekday at lunch time, where only liquefied black beans soup is presented everyday, saddens the happiest cuban stomach. Ah… and at the sound of house music.
I really miss this restaurant! My family and I used to eat here all the time. My favorite dish was the churrasco steak, and I loved the flan de coco as well. The congri was fantastic too. I always think about how great it was to eat here, especially now that we've moved. Food: 5/5
I had a great experience with the lunch special—it was both delicious and generous. The decor was lovely, and our waitress was incredibly polite and efficient. I would rate the food as a perfect 5 out of 5.
