Die wohlverdiente Wanderpause während einer aussichtsreichen Wanderung zum Drachenfelsen war herrlich. Die Getränke Weizenbier vom Fass, Weinschorlen, alkoholfreie Getränke waren herrlich kühl. Der Chef von Anfang an freundlich, obwohl er mit wenig Personal ab und an in zeitliche Verzögerungen kam. Ein Gast, der dies nicht verstand, zu lange auf das Schnitzel warten musste, drohte ihm mit vernichtender Kritik und lehnte Entschuldigung, Kaffee und Schnaps ab. Unsere Gruppe konnte das nicht nachvollziehen und entrichten dem Chef und seinem Team unser Kompliment für eine gelungene Pause im Waldhaus Lambertskreuz.
The Lambertskreuz can be approached from many directions. We walked a good 5 kilometers up from the free parking lot at the Kurpfalzpark with a moderate incline. Once at the top there is a beautiful restaurant with large indoor and outdoor areas. There is an outdoor playground with a seesaw, climbing tower, slide and swings. The prices are rather high for a self-service restaurant in the forest. The portions are large and tasty. I can recommend the Lambertskreuz for a family trip.
Simply cult and also superbly managed! Whether as a hiker or biker, the Lambertskreutz is a must and highlight on every tour. The food is always very good and tasty, the staff is friendly and motivated, and the guests are relaxed. The bee sting is legendary, but a simple soup or currywurst can also be very impressive! Keep it up, we'd love to come to you!
A beautiful hike from Saupferch past the Drachenfelsen culminated at the Waldhaus Lambertskreuz. Not only the extremely tasty Palatinate specialties, but also the open-hearted people and the encounters with employees and guests remain in our fond memories. A clear stop-off recommendation for the Lambertskreuz!

I was there on Saturday with my mountain bike. It was a wonderful atmosphere and the ambience was great, ideal for a rest when you go on a bike ride or a hike... I can only recommend it. I will come again.
The lentil soup is to die for. The service people are super friendly I think the bee sting is a bit excessive for 4.50. It's big and delicious, but it's also 80% just cream.
Immer wieder ein Ziel mit gutem Pfälzer Essen. Gemütlich und ein lohnendes Ziel für einen schönen Tag im Wald. Nette Bedienung und sehr gute Schorle.
