We booked this small hotel in the Thüringerwald over the 'Spar Mit ' site for a week hikiing holiday. The hotel looked very simple on the webste wad we were all pleasantly surprised by the accommodation: we had a bungalow for one couple and an apartment for the other three. Both were roomy and comfortable. There are 5 bungalows, 2 of which have been completely renovated with more modern furnishings, a larger bathroom and a kitchenette (these would sleep 3). Those that have not yet been renovated have more old fashioned but very comfortable furnishings and no kitchen. This quiet hotel is in the middle of the woods and on the Rennsteig.
