update dezember 2016 is one of my favorite restaurants. the atmosphere is calm, a bit from the front, while cozy. the service still excellent, as well as eating. my choice in the last week: tafelspitz on truffle root vegetables to a laugh of kartoffel pure and merrettich sauce to €18.50 it stays at 5 stars! .......... april 2013 the gaststube is a restaurant of the waldhotel riesebusch, and this in turn is idyllic at the rande of a forest called riesebusch. several times in the year we want to return here, among other things because the menu changes and the foods are adapted to the respective season. seasonal eating – they know what they have. the environment is rustic with a hauch of elegan...
very nice to fourth plus dog, we visited this locally on a sunny Saturday afternoon to drink something and eat a snack. in front of the lasy terrace there was a separate large table, for us as created. the wind through the mighty trees of the immediately adjacent giant drive and imposing clouds before themselves drove idyll pure! our service appeared very soon with cutlery and the clear menus; she seemed nice, but also stressed this later when she reported that she was already in service since the breakfast, and that make them warm. we are all human! the pleasantly fast served foods satisfied with restrictions: the pommes to the curry sausages seemed too late and tasted only moderately tasty...
a good restaurant of the upper middle class, it is located directly at the nearby recreation area riesebusch. the pfingsalbe wears the environmental clothing appropriately. still it is friendly and friendly. my wife and I have tried with our daughter the outside area of the restaurant. it ran smoothly also the multiple impediment our daughter has not disturbed anyone. I had an asterwater and a handmade cheeseburger from own making with pommes, the taste was very good. my wife had a coffee and a strawberry rababer compot with vanilleeis, which was also a pleasure. in addition was homemade with a diving as greeting the kitchen free the traffic connection with the öpnw is as good as not given....
The main dish was not cheap, but quite ok, the portions sufficient. The dessert, Despresso described as an espresso and two little things a bad joke. On a dessert plate an espresso, before it a glass plate approx. 10x5cm with a little red cap (7-8 cherries and about as many blackcurrants and a Baisertuff ø2cm, laid to the Grütze without love). Not even obligatory cookies to espresso. All for 8€. A tiny critique, sweet, uninspired and just naughty to offer something like that at this price. Conclusion: you don't have to go back.

some time ago we had organized a private celebration in the frame of an jubilee in the spatial areas of the forest hotel riesebusch and were more than satisfied with the organization, service, decoration/Ambiente and especially with the eating. courteous staff, a nice chefin and also the short-term performance of special wishes were the plus points. many thanks for the beautiful evening. heike and jochen.
After conversion, completely new appearance. Unfortunately, one tries to get the conversion costs back in by the guests. 1. Map very economical and not unambiguous, 2. for children not a single offer. We ordered according to map: Rib Eye Steak with oven sweet potatoes and vegetables, we got the steak, the sweet potatoes, 5 small mushrooms from the can and 5 salad leaves. 29,00 €!!!
We sat very comfortably in the lounge. The goose was crispy and really highly recommended, the supplements were warmed up. Also the men have become tired. Our service was polite and accommodating. We will definitely come back and recommend the restaurant.
the frittier was hard and tasted like 3x heated. the red cabbage was overfilled, in the fabe almost black and cooked in consistency. the total number of persons not treated; we were tired fast.
