We celebrated our wedding here in March 2019 with 42 people. Already at the first personal contact we felt very comfortable and the decision to organize our wedding celebration was quite fast. The further planning and organization was uncomplicated and left no wishes open. We left the decoration completely on the wood carving, with the exception of the coarse color selection, and were definitely not disappointed. We were there twice now and I have to say I can't remember ever eating so deliciously wild in the area. The Killewittchen is located in the middle of the forest and has a magnificent view when you sit up. It is totally beautiful and cordially decorated, not old baked, but you feel like sitting at home. Simple and cozy. The food is really the madness my favorite of wild boar anger with knocking the waiting time could be a little shorter, but for such a mega food the cup is at a high level. I can only recommend it and would like to give 10 stars:

Wir waren jetzt zweimal dort und ich muss sagen, ich kann mich nicht daran erinnern jemals in der Umgebung so leckeres Wild gegessen zu haben. Das Killewittchen liegt mitten im Wald und hat eine wunderbare Aussicht wenn man oben sitzt. Es ist total schön und herzlich dekoriert, nicht altbacken, sondern man fühlt sich als ob man bei jemandem Zuhause sitzen würde. Einfach gemütlich und kuschelig. Ein schönes Restaurant, konnte leider mit den hygiene regeln/eingeschränkter Betrieb, sowie der beschränkten Menüauswahl nicht richtig glänzen. Das Essen hatte Luft nach oben. Alles war etwas arg lange in der Pfanne. Wir probieren es gerne nach der Pandemie nochmals. Die Bedienung und der Koch waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend.
Update: inzwischen waren wir öfter hier. Das Essen ist extrem gut, egal, was man bestellt. Sehr abgelegen im Wald, kommt man hier auf der Außenterrasse schnell in Urlaubsstimmung. Der Service war sehr nett und auf Zack, das Essen war sehr gut, aber es könnte etwas mehr Soße auf der Currywurst sein. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
