Rather by chance, looking for a restaurant in the south of Berlin, we reached the Waldstübchen in Mahlow, south of Berlin. The externally inconspicuous, barrack-like construction became a small pearl of gastronomy. The cosy guest room, furnished with attention to detail, opened to a terrace where a small beer garden joined. The owners, very friendly and sympathetic, run their restaurant in the Bavarian ambience. Drinks and food are mostly Bavarian origins. A look into the menu shows quite moderate prices.
