absolutely shocking! I was at a Christmas party yesterday. a set menu of 3 curses, with options specified for each. the waiter who took our order was nice to ask us if we had any food allergies. the entries came out and were decent, but it took 1.5 hours to arrive for the netzen. We went to the Walkers Arms for a mid-week Buffet lunch earlier in the year. Upon entry the staff were very friendly and allowed us to walk around and see what was on offer before making our decision. The variety of food was reasonable although perhaps a little limited for our liking. The taste/quality of the meals was also quite reasonable. The price was not bad either. Overall it was not the best buffet we have had in Adelaide but certainly not the worst either. Definitely worth a look.
I will say that this is not my favorite place for eating as I am not really a buffet fan, and service is somehow not existent except when a drink ordered at the bar, but we came a few weeks ago for a wee sesh in the beer garden and I did not know that there was a separate menu. I had an orange dressed red current quinoa salat and it was lovely. the room and the facility outside is beautiful and modern and makes for a good place for a sesh with friends.
came because we had a 50% discounted credit in the post. we have booked a table where we were told that someone else is sitting on our table. not the pubs owe that people simply ignored the reserved sign. we had to go up and order. the lamb under the full price is $32. it was good, but nothing I could not cook at home. at full price we will not be back. the place is really busy, so I don't think it's something for them.
