Walter's Hot Dogs - Table reservation

Many many years ago (at least 20, probably more) I visited the original spot on mamaroneck, and hated the hotdog. It was white and an odd flavor, it tasted as unappetizing as it looked. I never could understand the line around the block. Fast forward to a few months ago, my husband was dying to go to the one in White Plains, so he did and when I saw what he got, it looked really good and I decided I 'd have to give them another chance one day. Today was that day we stopped by for lunch and got the 'small family deal '. The deal includes 6 dogs, 2 orders of fries and 1 order of either funnel cake fries or cinnamon sticks. Came to Walter's for a quick bite before meeting up with family. Thebhot dog was delicious! Very flavorful and crisp and juicy. Perfect bun. The curly fries were nice and crunchy and seasoned perfectly. My wife really enjoyed the clam chowder. Would love to come back and try other dogs and menu items. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5
