I used to regularly visit this deli years ago when i lived in the locale. I have paid a few visits since and I am sorry to say it has lost it’s mojo. I visited today with my 79 year old mother. First of all, we waited for quite a while in the queue. Secondly, they seemed to only have teenagers/young adults as employees on a lovely Saturday which would predict it would be busy, When we eventually neared the till to place our order, my mother was tired and i told her to sit at a visible empty table. We were visiting tourists. I thought I was being overly focused on it during our visit, but on reading previous reviews I've been reassured that I wasn't imagining it it seems that the same tall male staff member is still at it.. he presents as v rude, we were definitely inconveniencing him by our presence and overall ordering our food was an awkward and uncomfortable affair. It was a nice relief to see that he greeted elderly locals in a more friendly manner. We had breakfast, food was delicious no denying it.
