The white walls and blonde wood furniture at Warren and Holt are the first thing that is surprising about this new arrival to Marrickville, in Sydney's inner west. The design has strayed far from the grungy Grandmas lounge room look, the decore preferred by Cafes and bars in this precinct. There are streamlined wooden benches following the lines of the walls to create eating spaces all around the well used space each with black iron legged wooden stools and chairs. Unusually delicious! I adore pumpkin and have found a new love for good pancakes so I thought why not try the Pumpkin Spiced Pancakes at Warren and Holt. Well, didn't I make a great decision! They were different to your usual pancakes as I don't believe they have any flour in them or flour containing gluten that is, so they had a very soft and smooth texture. The toppings were just the right amount of sweetness to satisfy your sweet tooth but still make you feel like you made a reasonably healthy choice for brekkie. I will definitely be back to sample some more deliciously healthy meals, but would recommend the pancakes to all. I would however take the friendly staffs advice of adding bacon....
Recently had lunch here and loved all the choices of healthy food and drinks available. I was not disappointed with my choice of the green pancakes and a hot chocolate. All gluten and dairy free! Looking forward to my banana bread that I couldn't resist...
5 stars for the flavoursome gluten free bread. Otherwise an austere & utilitarian modern space where the business is to serve you good food quickly, which it does.Good if you are in the mood for hussle & bustle and can tolerate hard seats ( no cushioning).

The food was of exceptional quality for the average brunch cafe price we paid for our dishes. Extra Brownie Points for Pepe Saya Butter on the Sourdough Toast I came with my perfectly cooked scrambled eggs. The service was just a bit missing overall.
I love this place, i would go here EVERYDAY (if i could afford it) is a bit pricey but you are paying for quality. I am slowly making my way through the menu, everything so far has been amazing.If you are in the area, this place is a must to try :)
