This was one of the most horrid food experiences I've had in Missouri. I'm from Chesterfield but moved away 10 years ago and brought my mother back to one of our favorite places, Wasabi. We sat at the bar as there was a wait for tables. We ordered andgot the sushi on a platter. One of the rolls was wrong. I quickly told the server and she made movements with her hands as ifshe was looking for something to scoop the roll off of the platter and alas.. Ended up SCOOPING IT WITH HER DIRTY BARE HANDS. Iam in absolute shock, being a restaurantuer... I didn't want to cause a scene in front of my mother. We immediately stoppedeating and asked for the check as we were in a hurry. I recently had one of the worst dining experiences in Missouri. I'm originally from Chesterfield, but I moved away ten years ago. I brought my mother back to one of our favorite spots, Wasabi. We decided to sit at the bar since there was a wait for tables. After placing our order, the sushi arrived on a platter, but one of the rolls was incorrect. I quickly informed the server, and she started gesturing as though she was searching for something to scoop the roll off the platter. Ultimately, she just ended up scooping it off!
I was excited to eat here again since I enjoyed both the food and experience at their previous location. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. I brought some friends who weren’t familiar with Japanese cuisine, hoping they would enjoy trying something new. However, the food didn’t live up to my expectations. I ordered the Teriyaki beef, but after one bite, I couldn’t continue. Having traveled the West Coast, I’ve had this dish prepared much better elsewhere.
Almost three years ago, the food and service were outstanding. The waitress back then was very nice and friendly. However, during my recent visit to the new location, although the food was still good, I noticed that hot tea is no longer complimentary, and the waitress was not very pleasant this time. I felt quite disappointed with the service.

Amazing sushi with friendly staff and a spotless environment. The food was outstanding. This isn’t pre-made sushi; it’s authentic, crafted fresh on-site, and you can watch the sushi being rolled right before your eyes. The menu is extensive, and all the ingredients are fresh.
Nice portions. Great variety of rolls. Specials, like Tues $6 rolls, are pretty great. I do wish they had a better selection of sakes. Overall quality fish and a nice experience. Not super high end but great for what they are... would give 4.5 if I could.
I ordered the chicken bento box, but the chicken was so dry it was difficult to eat. Overall, I found the food to be below average considering the price. I would have been better off going to Sushi Ai. The servers were friendly, but the service was slow.

Great atmosphere! I've visited this place twice. The food not only looks appealing but also tastes delicious, especially the sushi. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of the large sushi platter. However, the bento box could use some improvement.
Great service and sushi rolls were fresh and tasty. Jacqueline was the only server/ bartender working when we arrived for early dinner and she was amazing. Took care of patron until additional help came.
