I've been in the area for almost five months now, and have been to all of the restaurants Imbisstype restaurants that are explicitly Thai at least once the others: Nittya's, Siam, Luk Yaamo. I really like Thai food and would say that every Thai restaurant...I have been to in Landshut is miles above and beyond the Thai food that I've had elsewhere in Germany. For comparison, I ordered a spicy beef massaman curry at each one with the exception of Wassanas, since I was there on a Friday and they only make it on Tuesdays. Instead, I ordered a chicken dish with cashew nuts, since it was about as close as I could get. Of all of the Imbisstype Thai restaurants, Wassanas has some of the best seating...
This restaurant is a small hidden “Jewel” it is amongst the wonderful building of the Neustadt in Landshut and has the style of the 80’s and the passion of its owner and his Thai team in the kitchen.Products are of the highest quality and they insist that no flavour enhancers are used. We discovered that they are using quality Thai spices and no flavour enhancers. The harmony between the Kitchen staff, the waiter and the cashier is amazing! It is just not noticeable that this place is an insider and always full! That is “Credit” to a quality for the price!Congratulations!
Perfect Thai food for family, friends or couples to meet there or take out food. They have daily lunch specials for around euros which is fantastic. All dishes are freshly prepared, they offer vegan and vegetarian dishes, fish, shrimp, chicken, pork, beef and includes...rice. Get there early for lunch as it fills up very fast
absolutely recommended, am min. 2x the week to lunch! always very fresh and consistent quality. very nice staff and eating is also quickly finished at lunchtime! simply a super restaurant
