It's real a small place near the so called Museumshafen. At first glance it spells the rather cool charm of nothern Germany's People. Almost like a Harbor bar. However, friendliness gets started as soon as we ordered. The meals were jus lovely. We sampled several meals and went back for a meal almost every day we spent in Bremerhaven. Prices are normal for the region
This is my no.1 recommendation for Bremerhaven. We went there without a reservation and only the bar seats were available. Wo took it and ordered a complete dinner for 3 persons. It was marvellous especially the herring starter with 3 different kinds of herring. I never have had something like this before!
A small pub besides the harbour with a small menue card full of fish and seafood. This is what you can not get in no luxury restaurant around the world. I tried the mussel meat with oniins and bacon. My recommendation: take the local beer
