We visited with friends this time but we are regulars sometimes as a couple and other times with family. Food is always consistent and very tasty too. Decent choice on the menu, reasonable choice of gluten friendly dishes too. If the weathers nice it’s great to sit outside and watch the boats and swans go by and people going through the lock outside. Family friendly on sunny days with bouncy castle (not too close to the tables so not intrusive) and you can also hire kayaks etc for a trip down the river. Service is friendly and it’s rare to wait for anything highly recommended but I recommend you book because it’s popular and gets busy even on weekday lunches!
We came here for an unplanned dinner, sat outside and ordered drinks, after a couple of rounds we had ordered food but it has gone a little bit chilly. Asked staff if we could move inside, they checked if space was available and came back to collect us. When we sat inside food arrived quickly and I realized my husband had ordered the starter portion of sweet chilli chicken not the main id requested. The staff upon realising this then bought a fresh portion of chips to the table and refused to accept payment for our error. Really friendly and couldn't do enough, food was delicious, and atmosphere was lovely. Would definitely return !!
Can’t thank the management and staff enough for their help and attention whilst we were dining yesterday. 5 of us in our family all had an excellent lunch, served promptly and great quality. My father then unfortunately became very ill and we were in need of assistance. The staff were so so helpful. They also refunded me for our puddings which we were unable to eat as we had to rush off to hospital. Absolutely brilliant customer service and would definitely recommend this pub for food quality and staff service. Thank you.
We went to celebrate a friends birthday and I was really pleasantly surprised at the food! It was absolutely delicious, I would go as far as to say it was one of the best salads I’ve ever had. The starter was also really really good. It’s located in a beautiful setting also and has a inflatable outside for children. Will absolutely return.

Came here on a sunny weekend, lovely waterside garden where you can eat outside. Food was not bad. Found it strange that you have to get your own cutlery/condiments when the staff bring over the food, have never had this before, did not like having to walk away and leave my food unattended.
Warm, friendly welcome. Efficient service at the bar and the table. Excellent menus with separate and full menus catering for gluten free and vegan choices. Food really nice and filling . Midweek visit 5.30pm but the pub was clearly popular. Would heartily recommend.
Went for my husband's birthday with friends and family. It's a lovely place and they cater for everyone (vegan, gluten free, veggie and omnivore). The service was excellent and professional and food lovely. Great for kids as bouncy castles and space to run around.
Today was a very busy day in Mountsorrel with lots of visitors for Revival. With so many extra people around the Waterside remained the friendly place we have always experienced with the usual high standard of customer service. An excellent meal as always.

Dinner was lovely, a bit chilled and the Veg wasn't cooked with one dish but that was it. The service and atmosphere was perfect.
Lovely location, excellent service and good food.. lots of space indoors and out and lovely relaxing canal side views.
