We have just returned from Berchtesgaden - we visit two times a year - first visit to the Watz - for drinks - though we will eat there next time - very comfortable modern bar situated in what was once Hitler's private entrance to the station. Convenient for the station and any hotels on the lower level of this lovely little town - though you can walk through the station and take the path up to the higher level of town. Friendly competent staff and should you want to watch sport Sky Sport is available
After visiting all the 'tourist' hotspots and traditional Bavarian restaurants in Berchtesgaden town, this place was a refreshing and modern change.A normal pub with a bit of a Bavarian twist and a fine selection of beers. The service was excellent (although nobody spoke English, which was fine as I got to practice my german) and the food was equally good. Beer, nails, currywurst, football, music and football. Pretty good!
Seems like this pub is brand new, very clean, and very modern. The waitress, whom barely spoke English, was extremely friendly. Half Liter draft beers for 3-4€, and typical German grub for €6-20, which was simple but good. Tidbit: this pub used to be Hitler's private train entrance.
We used this pub as a base for different activities at downtown area. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Plenty of room available at least in afternoon hours. Taxi-stop is located right at the front entrance,,,,nice and convenient in bad weather.

This is a hip little spot that seems to cater to a younger crowd. We just had drinks but the food that was coming out of the kitchen looked great. The place had a nice vibe and a good crowd on the Wednesday night. I'll come back here again.
We visited this pub twice in our four day stay in Berchtesgaden. We must say that the food and the service were excellent. Their Spaetzel are incredibly delicious and very good and crispy pommes. The prices are also good.
Great location, right beside the train station. Actually it is in Hitler's waiting room and private bathroom location, now totally remodeled into a bar/restaurant. Pleasant waiter, and good food.
We looked at this bar a couple of times from the outside it looks a little ruff but we were so wrong it is lovely we only had drinks but the food passing us looked fantastic.

Located at the train station, it is a great place to watch people go by. Food was tasty and the beer was too. No complaints here, as our server was efficient and polite!
A nice bar with added history attached to the building. Didn't eat here but had a few drinks. Pleasant staff.
