Food Hound: Tidbits Jake 's Wayback Burgers. Hey, everything you eat out there, it's your captain from the Wasteland... Brimstone (Etan says Hi!, ready to bring you another AMAZING Food Hound Tidbit! Today we met Jake 's Wayback Burgers in East Meadow, New York and drove back to the days where life was a lot easier on the tasty train; but the food was still to die! Etan and I went to this new location, which was opened about six months ago. When we walked through the doors, we were greeted with smiles and a big, welcome to Wayback Burgers from behind the counter. People were incredibly welcoming and ready to serve some killers! It is really a wonderful experience if the staff is really proud...

The restaurant offers delicious flavors at a great price. The burgers are juicy, fresh, and come with a variety of toppings to choose from. We also enjoyed the crispy and tasty onion rings, as well as the fresh and good potato chips (although they could use a bit more salt). The concept is reminiscent of Five Guys, but slightly more affordable. The menu also offers a selection of shakes and desserts that we look forward to trying next time. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean and inviting.

Appropriate waiting, friendly service, nice clean atmosphere. Jake Cheeseburger was delicious with all the toppings you want. Fries were a little average. Shamrock Shake was also really good and tasteful.

The menu was tweaked a bit, but the basics are still the same. Hamburgers are the mainstay, but you can also get a hot dog, a chicken sandwich or even a veggieburger. There are even salads on the menu. .

Gorging on burgers and watching Fringe . Yeah, a perfect Friday night.
