This restaurant was the best German restaurant my family ever went to while we lived in Germany. We visited for my birthday one year and I would always look for an excuse to drive to Ruedesheim to eat here. A small restaurant with a view of the river and a castle on the other side, like everywhere else in Germany. For our family of 4, we never paid more than 35 euro to eat here. I always had the same schnitzel named Bauern-schnitzel. It comes with fried onions and potatoes, bacon pieces, a slice of ham, and a fried egg on top. We have often celebrated at the Eibinger Zehnhof, taken part in club celebrations, held class reunions or simply had a good dinner and a good glass of beer. We were always looked after and cooked for in a very family-like manner and were treated to regional and national specialties. A week in Rudesheim and found this place far too late. Service, food, wine, price, all in ordnung. If ever back this town, this IS our place!
