I'm not really sure if I will call this place a Café or a Restaurant... Their name is Weinhaus Beck and Weinhaus means House of Wine. Yes, this is really a House of Wine... As soon as you get in the place, wines will be...welcoming you in all direction. We came here to have breakfast. On each table, there's already a basket of different breads and a plate of colored hard boiled eggs. When we asked for a plate of cheese, the owner told us that we can go out and buy cheese at the market, bring it over and they will give us plates and knives... I think that is really cool... going to a restaurant and bringing your own food... I saw in other tables they have marmalades and some other stuff that...
my hubby and I came over this beautiful little weinbarian, while at a night stay in tubingen and we were so glad we did! the interieur is beautiful with a part bar wein shop style, the staff is super friendly and welcome and we tried some really nice local wee recommended by them. there was a nice mix of local and tourist and we came back times during our stay as we loved the atmosphere and people so much. Do not miss this place when they are in tubingen!
one of the most important things to rest their feet, the city has a lot of steep roads and passes through. weinhaus beck is a perfect wine room or wine room as they call it in German. on a warm day there are sitting places on the square, but the room offers the cozy atmosphere of a local square. the waiters know their wee and can meet a good recommendation. highly recommended for a short break or a lazy afternoon with a paper or a book.
Best place in Tübingen when it comes to enjoyment. Great product selection, outstanding seminars, attentive service staff and a great owner. Another 20 years. I am happy and even if the owner turns his eyes, I will continue to min. 1 times a month on site;

Cosy old and rustic wine place, great wine selection, nice service, beautiful individual handwritten price tags, which you find very rare. At any time, I'd like to see you again.
