My husband and I were looking for a cozy restaurant vibe with good food and wine Weinkeller far exceeded our expectations!! It is hidden away from the Clifton hill chaos, which makes it the perfect spot for a quieter date night. The food was top knotch and well worth the price which was pretty reasonable given how mouth watering every bite was. There wasn’t a single item off the menu that we didn’t devour. The fried goat cheese, oysters, pork chop, filet were all melt in your mouth amazing. We also ended the meal with the best espresso martini we ever had. Absolutely incredible dining experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was cozy, the cuisine was amazing, the wine was excellent, and the service was fantastic. Anyone who gives this place less than five stars should probably stick to the numerous mediocre buffets in Niagara. Between the two of us, we shared the PEI oysters (x2), the chef’s special salad, mussels fries, fried goat cheese, tomahawk pork chop, filet, dessert won tons, and cab franc. Every single element was perfect. The way Weinkeller handles its menu is unique. It’s five courses, but that can be just about any combination of food and drinks on the menu. Met here with a group of about 20. The menu was set at the pick 3 option. I enjoyed the bacon wrapped filet mignon that had some different seasoning and spices on it than I was used to, but it was DELICIOUS! The Cabernet Sauvignon was smooth and complimented extremely well. The staff was attentive but not harried or rushing us extremely timely and made for an entirely enjoyable experience!
We had a wonderfull evening at the Weinkeller. We love the Menue where you can choose 1 Main and 4 Sides (whatever you like, appetizer, wine, beer,… the food was fantastic and the pairing with the vine excellent. The BlackAngus Filet was a dream. We will definetly come back
