The restaurant is centrally located. The location is beautiful, although it could have a better light concept, as it is quite boring. The menu does not offer a wide selection. It's either taking or leaving. We ordered an Apéro drink and it came after the first course (Salad), which only shows that a lack of timing and understanding of the guests need. You have no caffeine for wine, so if you order 0.5 liter of wine, they serve it in two glasses of 2.5. What the hell? You can't pay with the card as no foreign cards work and refuse credit cards. Useful to mention that every shop and bar in the city can work that things work without problems. Eating was okay, but nothing excellent.
We booked a table on the terrace and that was wise because there are not many tables. It is located in a back alley of Überlingen not far from Lake Constance, you can even see it from there. The waiter was friendly, but had to do almost everything alone and therefore some things did not go too smooth. We ordered a medium rare steak, but it was well done and instead of 2 red wines we got 1 red and 1 white. Because the white man was good, we had no problem with it. Flamecake was really tasteful. Steak less because it was overcooked. Salade, who came with Steak, was good. Wide selection of open wines per glass. Good that most of the region are.
A family meal or a romantic dinner..either is fantastic. The host was incredibly helpful with our selections and extremely accommodating for any variations to the menu that we had! The wine recommended was also top notch from the local region. Inside the restaurant was a lovely atmosphere but we went for al fresco for the summer evening and it was perfect for us : We will certainly return.
A very good restaurant just steps from the popular central yacht park at the lake. There is a taxi cab stand within 200 feet of the front door. Good food and good service.
