My family and I had just visited Nanstein castle. We noticed there was a hotel/resturant within walking distance from the castle. As we approched the entrance we noticed there were tables outside with people sipping wine. Once inside, several people were dining and enjoying conversation. There was a very nice salad bar, however it was not your typical american salad bar. It did included romain lettuce, carrott shavings, olives, peppers, cucumbers, diced mushroom, and sweet sundried dates. My family and I had just visited Nanstein Castle. We noticed that there is a hotel / restorer walking from the castle. When we took the entrance, we noticed there were tables outside with people scrubbing wine. Once inside, several people were dining room and enjoy entertainment. Auf eine Tischreservierungsanfrage folgte umgehend und freundlich eine positive Rückmeldung. Der Wunsch nach einem ruhigen Ecktisch wegen unserem großen Hund wurde ebenfalls berücksichtigt. Personal seeeeehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war wirklich ebenfalls außerordentlich. Einen Stern Abzug allerdings für die deutlich gehobenen Preise. Wir kommen aus einer Großstadt und sind demnach ein gehobenes Preisniveau durchaus gewöhnt. Aber für 0,2 l Weißwein 10 Euro zu verlangen oder für eine Vorspeisensuppe über 11 Euro, empfanden wir etwas happig. Ansonsten alles perfekt. Praktisch ist zudem, dass der Bahnhof direkt gegenüber liegt.
Von A-Z perfekt. Wir waren über das Wochenende dort und haben beide Abende im Hotel gegessen. Sowohl vor- als auch Hauptspeisen waren sehr sehr lecker, gut angerichtet und der Service hat sich super viel mühe gegeben. Die Weinauswahl war super, Preis-Leistung absolut gegeben.
Das Ambiente ist sehr hübsch. Schon der Eingangsbereich ist sehr freundlich gestaltet. Die Gaststube ist relativ klein, aber man fühlt sich schnell wohl. Der Wein ist lecker, man wird sehr freundlich bedient.
