I went there after our team meeting with my team. we have eaten 8 people who start eating, flatbreads and salads. the terrace was filled with larger groups unfortunately the menu does not offer starter to share what I think would be great as the location. is very casual and it is always nice to eat something small. Nevertheless, the hand cheese and obatzder was very well seasoned, even if the division was very complicated. for the first we had salate and flatbreads and unfortunately three of the flatbreads were either super salty or far to season (we ordered mild), where even the seasoned lovers had to stop eating. Overall, I think it's a nice place and I think we might have been unhappy ton...
great atmosphere in a small but very cozy room with a handful of woody and benches to an open fireplace that was the fire of the forging from the 17th century. the food fits to this rustic atmosphere: the flame cake (French pizza!). is hearty and high quality. many very beautiful local and international decisions from their extensive wine list to go with it. I was impressed by the high quality of eating as much as very affordable price on it. this was a high point of my trip to the region and would like to go back as soon as I get a chance. make them reservations and be ready to share a table with other customers. in warmer summer nights there is much more space on the terrace.
the old village forge offers a very welcoming, ugly, but also stylishly decorated ambiente on a small space. the flame cakes were very tasty and also changes of the coating were no problem. because it was a very mild spring day you could already sit in the beautiful inner courtyard, which is also equipped with heat mushrooms before you went to the weinstube. because here everything was left in original style and construction and there is an open fireplace, you feel directly placed in another world, but good at the powder. the selection of the weine was top.The family-run local is always worth a visit again.
on a hot Friday evening we are spontaneously in the old village forge where we have long been out of place. we were totally thrilled how beautiful and cozy you can sit there in the (to the happy) farm - really totally idyllic! We only found a pity that was reserved for all tables. as we arrived at 18:30 a.m., we were allowed to sit on a table that was reserved only later. so we were able to stay there at least an hour and eat a delicious flame-cake. great wine and flame cake selection! also the day card is top! next time we will reserve in any case!

cycling trip with friends to eschborn. we had a table reserved, because without a reservation not much is going on here. the great courtyard is cozy small, so the number of seats is limited. therefore also no mass production as elsewhere. the flaky cake perfect, the apple wine probably tempered and tasty. yes and the hand cheese in the sauce of the day card. to clean delicious!. hopefully we will be back soon
breathe here when on a business trip. nice cozy restaurant, which was formerly the village iron smith. wooden and beams with a beautiful warming open fire that was very welcome in early february weather! selection of different inflammations and some good weeping. I can recommend and would be happy back.
that is a very charming place. there is a beautiful backyard where they can sit outside and some tables in the old forge. the menu is very limited, as the main course with different fillings has: flammpie. that tastes good and. the atmosphere makes this place worth visiting.
Very nice atmosphere in the summer in the little courtyard of this restaurant. We eat divinely well and for cheap. The waitresses are very nice. the flamekuche are sometimes very tasty and light, to be tested!
