we arrived there on the afternoon, we unfortunately have no table reservations in the evening. this is a cozy wine room. the space was used as best possible. if you reserve there, you reserve places there, not tables! so it didn't take long to sit alone on the table. we ordered a bottle of wine, a potato soup, and once a spundekäs. the portions were not small. eating and the wine very tasty. we have been sitting there very comfortably and have come to talk with the other guests. also their ordered diners looked very good and appealing. we will definitely come back.
While in Mainz, the family dropped into the Weinstube Loschthe in Mainz for a bite to eat. Small restaurant on Jakobsbergstrabe, almost passed it by, but luck was on our side. The ambiance was cozy, I would say it was an old school/traditional German restaurant. We ordered various dishes, which I can’t even remember who got what, but I do know I had a center cut steak that was Sooo Good! Hat off to the Chef. The staff was friendly

Hier sitzt man gemütlich zusammen bei ausgezeichneter Küche und großartigen Weinen. Der Service ist perfekt, so wie das Preis leistungsverhältnis. Eine Reservierung ist empfohlen.
Gehe immer wieder gerne hin. Essen ist super, Service ist top. Ambiente ist ein echter Klassiker. Preise sind mittlerweile aber auch erheblich. Daher ein kleinen Abzug. Sorry.
we have eaten very tasty here. portionings are neat - the wine portions are also (mainzer wine bar). I would recommend to book, as here is a lot to go.
