We ended up here because the overrated Battenheimer Hof was shut for a private do which we didn't find out until we arrived (we had previously tried several times to telephone to reserve a table but nobody answered the phone).Anyway, we ended up here and can only recommend it. The menu is shortish but adequate for what is described as Weincafé and the food that was offered was excellent. The courtyard has a pleasant atmosphere, especially when it gets dark and the lights go on. In particular, the service was delightful.The Weincafé zur Angela not only saved our evening but made it one to remember.

Walked past this weinstube by chance and what a great little gem. We had two huge pieces of cake and coffee. I had baked cheesecake which was really tasty and my partner had Bienenstich which was very moist and tasty. Overall a very warm and...cosy place with very friendly staff. This place will become a regular coffee stop
