Wence's - Table reservation

It has been a few years since I had gone to Wence's and I was reminded why I avoided going here. Our reservation was for 6:15. We were taken to our table and it took about 20 minutes before anyone came to take our order. We ordered drinks, an appetizer, soup salad and then the main course. It took another 20 mins before we got our drinks and appetizer but then as we sat chatting for a long time when we noticed two other parties who got seated after us get their dinners served to them. We enjoyed our birthday night out here and did the early bird dinners. The lobster chowder was delicious and my chicken was very good as well. Dining companions had the pasta and enjoyed it, fish and chips, and the salmon. The gelato dessert was well presented and tasty as well. Portions are ample without being over the top. We would go back again.

Ordered fish and chips..it was deep fried and I was sick rest of the day. The inside dining room is way too noisy hard to hear yourself speak Parking: Small lot to service 3 restaurants

Had a rough services night at one our favorite places tonight. They were busy but our server failed to bring drinks, by like 25 minutes. Usually a great experience but not tonight.

Have enjoyed this restaurant for many years but last night had new server named Chris who truly elevated the experience. Well done Chris!
