I’ve been to this Wendy's before and my experiences haven’t always been great. However, on March 25, 2022, I stopped by before picking up my uncle from the airport, and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a classic Dave's single, fries, and a root beer. The burger was fresh, the fries were piping hot, and the staff was incredibly friendly. One employee even took the time to check in on me to see if I was enjoying my meal as I was leaving. This Wendy's is just a short drive from RDU International Airport, so if you've just arrived and are feeling hungry, it's definitely worth a stop!
When my group entered Wendy's, we were greeted with attitude. We were told the dining area was closed, even though both sets of doors were unlocked and there was no sign indicating it was drive-thru only. We placed our order at the counter but were asked to eat outside. Our food arrived cold and bland. When I tried to season it, the salt packet was clumped, as if it had gotten wet and dried again. Later, when my husband returned to get his missing sandwich, he overheard employees cursing and being rude about him coming back. We will definitely not be returning.
This was one of the best Wendy's locations I have ever visited, possibly the best. The food was so hot and delicious that I went back through the drive-thru to place another order. The ladies at the drive-thru window were incredibly friendly and even informed me how I could get something for free by completing a survey.
The food was incredibly tasty! We dined there three times, and every visit was outstanding. When we returned on April 18, 2019, it was just as amazing as always. Our server, Qiana, was fantastic—very friendly, attentive, and did an excellent job!

I attempted to use the drive-thru just 10 minutes before closing time, but no one came to take my order. After waiting, I drove around to the window, where I found the employees simply chatting. I definitely won’t be returning.
A couple of the staff members were bickering about making too many chicken sandwiches without any orders. The food was decent, but my fries weren't very hot. Also, the restroom lacks privacy for anyone needing to use it.
I had to repeat my order multiple times, and while they eventually got it right, the food fell short of my expectations. The baked potato was undercooked, so we had to throw it away, and my burger was just mediocre.
First and foremost, the restaurant is CLEAN. Honestly, the food is FRESH—extremely fresh. It reminds me of how Wendy's used to be, with fresh ingredients, a tidy environment, and a friendly staff.
