We were looking for a lunch on Sunday at about 14:00, unfortunately we only found this pub which offered a lunch table! So, unfortunately, nothing left us! We ordered cheese and Cordon bleu. In the outdoor area were strangely occupied some tables (all Touris) inside it was empty! The Wenzelstube is a little hidden in the center of Wertheim but it is worth looking for it. Schaufle (Schweineschulter) with supplements or the Schweinshaxe, the Frankenteller, all beautifully presented and tasty prepared to enjoy in a quiet, well maintained ambience. My restaurant in Wertheim.
Today, despite the bad reviews, we were getting into the Wencestube. The food was really delicious and freshly prepared and we were very happy despite the somewhat longer waiting period. The service was friendly and tried. We like to come back.
