We visited a few weeks ago as a party of around 10. We prebooked and arrived for an evening of food and drinks. The food was very very tasty but as other reviews had said the portions were tiny. The menu had a good variety,...but as others have mentioned half the items were not available at 7pm. This would have been okay but they also continued to run out as we placed our orders which resulted in diners having to swap choices based on the fact that one didn’t like fish or polenta which were the only two options available by the time they got to them. Came here with my grandma who has run restaurants herself and is very knowledgable about wine. She asked the manager to recommend a wine out of two she had selected (thinking he might know more than was listed on the menu) and he proceeded to...very patronisingly explain to her where a Rioja is from but failed to give any more information. He was clearly very drunk and when he brought our wine over he sat down at the table with us and drank some wine with us?! It was uncomfortable to say the least. Hoping that the food might improve the situation, we were sorely disappointed by an overcooked, tasteless risotto amongst other poorly prepared dishes.
This bistro/wine bar is a real hidden gem! The friendly atmosphere is second to none- there’s no endless waiting around at the bar waiting to be served, the staff are on hand as soon as you walk through the door. Although I have never personally...eaten here I have spoken to many of the customers (as they are all so friendly and chatty) and they have told me about meals- it’s now on my ‘list’! Great wine, great staff, great owners and a homely,relaxing atmosphere- what more could anyone anyone want ?
Popped in for one while we were waiting for a cab after having eaten at Rafters down the road, wound up staying for many. Interesting conversations struck up with the locals had us staying until the wee hours, many drinks is later. Topics ranged from...free-range chickens to the astronaut program, and pretty much all point in between. A magic night with good fun and lots of laughs.

On entering, one is faced by a long bar with some very friendly blokes who are obviously regulars. There's good beer on tap and excellent by bottle and by the glass. Service staff was excellent. Food was varied and delicious. Price is extremely reasonable. Ambience...is perfect. Highly recommended.
West 10 Wine Bar is a perfect place for a small party (20 people) to collect celebrity drinks on the occasion of a big birthday. Nice bar, outside tables for the smokers, comfortable seats inside and upstairs. Good selection of drinks and friendly staff.
My girlfriend and I came to Sun Fest at The Rising Sun and stumbled upon this bug of a place. Large wine list at reasonable prices and everyone is super friendly. If you are looking for a wine bar that has no intent, then this is the place! My new place!
Overpriced food for the quality. Mussels dry and I suspect previously frozen . Same for the sole which took ages to arrive because it takes ages to cook . 5 mins)
