My wife and I enjoy trying different local diners whenever we can, and during our recent trip out of town, we decided to stop by this diner. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak with a baked potato. While the sandwich was edible, it fell short compared to others I’ve had, and the baked potato was just average. My wife got a hamburger steak with fries and coleslaw. The hamburger was fine but overcooked, the slaw was unusual and quite dry, and I'm not sure why any respectable diner would serve crinkle-cut fries, but they did. Overall, the food was decent—nothing extraordinary—but when compared to similarly priced fast food, I would choose this diner any day.

I had high hopes for this divey little local joint, but the food here was pretty boring. The fries and catfish tasted like they were right out of any other fast food joint. The coleslaw was good. The cornbread was weird. I did not like it. It had a sour flavor and was missing any sweetness, which may be a local variant of cornbread that I'm not accustomed to. At least it seemed like it was made in house. In the end, it was just kinda forgettable. Too bad.

Hole in the wall...no frills atmosphere. Food was excellent and prices are very inexpensive. Will come back again and again. Wife had Ruben with sweet potato fries and I had the cheeseburger with onion rings. Both were great! Why I never went there before I do not know but my new go to restaurant. I wish they stayed open longer than 3pm but hey...deal with it!

I couldn't tell if the biscuits were frozen or canned. The restaurant isn't bad, but it doesn't compare to what my grandmother used to make. As for kid-friendliness, they don’t allow high chairs at the corner tables because there's not enough space! Book a table now

9 am on a Monday. No eggs, no wifi, 20 min for 2 pancakes, OJ from old concentrate, and card not accepted. Toilet works. Better off at...any chain. The high reviews must be from everyone they know in town. Avoid.

Slow service and way over priced. $49 and some change for 3 burgers and my wife had a house special of fried bologna and 1 biscuit and gravy. Want ever eat there again

The owner prefers to accept cash instead of charging her customers extra. She provides excellent support to the community!
