Their food quality is not consistent at all which is understandable. But usually I at least LIKE the food, sometimes love it. Last night however the egg roll was a floppy greasy mess, the sesame noodles were just slimy and gross, and the Szechuan chicken was bland. Even worse, and this should be a crime... I ordered shrimp lo mein, crab sticks, and wonton soup. The shrimp lo mein was quite tasty, and I appreciated that it wasn't overly oily. It also had a good amount of shrimp. However, my husband wasn’t a fan of the crab sticks; he thought they were mushy on the inside and over-fried. The wonton soup was decent, with a generous number of wontons. Overall, I found the prices to be very reasonable for the area.
I used to frequent this restaurant when I worked nearby. Back then ths food was pretty good. Not sure what happened, but the General Tso's chicken was fried too hard. It was not edible. The tofu was too chewy. The pork fried rice lacked flavor. The chicken wings were average. The food was very disappointing. The 68. Shrimp Lo Mein lacked flavor and instead had an overpowering fishy taste. On the other hand, the C12. Chicken or Pork with Garlic Sauce was quite good. I wasn't expecting it to be a garlic chicken dish like chicken with broccoli, but it turned out to be decent. However, there were definitely more vegetables than chicken in the dish. Book a table now
They charged me $29.47 for my pick-up order, which included a General Tso Lunch Special ($10.95) and Pepper Steak with Onions ($9.25). The math doesn’t add up, and their receipts aren't itemized. I understand that times are tough, but even with the free can of Coke and egg roll included in the picture, it still feels like I was overcharged.
They offer delicious and reasonably priced lunches from Monday to Friday, available from 11 AM to 2 PM, and the service is incredibly friendly. I really love this place and will definitely be returning!
