Traditional boiled bagels are smaller, have a denser crust, than the steamed bagel offers. The inside is rich and firm, without the airation resulting from the steam, proffing process. Good place for a basic bagel! Not the fancy, gentrified type of bagel shop popping up around LA. Just quick service and the tried-and-true menu options. I went and ordered in person, and the staff was attentive. The bagels are a bit on the small side, but they're soft and chewy just how they should be. They don't skimp on the cream cheese. Every neighborhood should have a shop like this one.
Turing into my go to spot for a nice quick bfast sandwich. Prices are very reasonable for the area. $6.75 for a Sausage, Egg and Cheese on an Onion Cheese bagel. Metered street parking and lot parking in the rear. Plenty of seating and clean. Friendly staff. They have everything a bagel spot should. I'll be back. Again...
