Recommended to us by a waitress in Port Douglas, this café is worth a visit.. We loved the location overlooking the water and near a park in the Wharf precinct (near where the cruise ships dock so interesting people watching). Many seating options (under cover, outside, lounges, stools, chairs etc), dog and kid friendly and wheelchair access. Fig and fruit loaf was delicious. Coffee good. Recommended.
We arrived tired and hungry from a plane trip and decided to go to Wharf One where we have had coffee on our last visit. The salmon with capers and sweet potato rosti was delicious. Hubby had poached eggs with kale, mushrooms, avacado and holondaise sauce. Perfect wharf side setting in the morning sunshine.
The cafe was better than average but not exceptional. Food showed promise and was interesting but needed a little work. The prawns were wonderful. However, the sweet potato crisp with hommus tasted good but was impossible as a dip. We used a knife but the crisps were too small and fine. Coffee was okay.

Lovely location great service food a bit arty for me but the Big Brekky was good but would rather have had Bacon than Ham. Everyone enjoyed very accommodating service and pleasant conversation. Lovely to walk along the front there and would recommend Breakfast here. About $25 a head covers most things
I came with my two dogs and chose to sit on the outer.. as soon as we arrived the waiter greeted us and chatted to my dog's. He went and got a water bowl s l went of to order. The service was very quick with happy smiling staff. Great water and park views. The food smelt terrific. Will be back.
Wharf One Cafe was at a fabulous location to grab a drink or food. It was a perfect spot to relax while looking out across the water and the cruise boat docked nearby. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Our toddler loved running around and exploring the area.
Had lunch for 4. Not overly busy but took ages for the meals to come out. Sweet potato chards were beautiful, salads were fresh but fish (mackerel and barra) was over cooked. Chicken burger not pleasant. Average. Not in a hurry to go back.

Lovely fresh food, a great change from the usual fare that you get while travelling. The staff were lovely and even gave our puppy a treat. Wonderful view of the water and passing boats. At the start of the boardwalk around the marina.
Wonderful location on the river with an extensive breakfast menu and the coffee is great. Highly recommend the Budda Bowl and my wife had the healthy porridge. Different but definitely nice
