Niki, who helped us with wedding planning and answered our many questions, was a delight to work with. Her professionalism and warm demeanor made the process enjoyable. A few weeks before the wedding, we met with Ralph, the maître d’hôtel, to finalize details, and he covered everything meticulously. We left that meeting feeling completely at ease and confident in our plans. Ralph was also very accommodating with any changes we wanted to make.

Niki and Ralph made sure all of our needs questions concerns were thoroughly addressed prior to the day so that on our wedding day we just had to show up and enjoy everything! I got ready at Whitby that morning and I would highly recommend we easily got in and we had plenty of space for all of our dresses hair and makeup and relaxing. We got married at Whitby Castle on 03/12/23. Our wedding was a dream! We and our guests all had the most amazing time! All of our guests raved about the food, during the cocktail and reception. Ralph our Maitre’d was Awesome and made sure everything went smoothly, as did our bridal attendant Rosa. Our bartender Alana was amazing, as was the chef whom we were lucky to meet! Planning our wedding has been a breeze, especially during our tasting where we explored menu options for the big day. Niki's patience, thoughtfulness, and flexibility make her a joy to work with. I'd like to begin by saying that I am a local who has been visiting the castle for many years. Unfortunately, I’m not sure what went wrong during the Confirmation party we hosted today. The food was not seasoned properly, served cold, and was very overcooked. While the staff was polite, they forgot about eight guests at the back of our event. This led to those guests having to get their own cups and silverware for dessert during a sit-down dinner. Sadly, we have decided not to return in the future.

I've DJ'd multiple weddings at this venue, and I must say, the atmosphere is unparalleled. The staff is incredibly helpful, and they maintain the facility in excellent condition. I was also impressed by the new flooring during my last visit. The food is fantastic, and it's truly a beautiful place to host a wedding. I highly recommend it and can't wait to return for another DJ gig!
